Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or education equivalent required
  • Must have food service or Culinary Arts degree
  • 3 years' related culinary work
  • Gaming license required
  • Food Safety or ServSafe certification required

  • 3 years' related culinary work experience
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares all menu items quickly, efficiently, and consistently
  • Prepares plates and baskets according to established proper presentation standards
  • Organizes, rotates, and stocks hot lines properly
  • Meets guests' needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals
  • Ensures the employee dining area is properly supplied with freshly prepared food
  • Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations
  • Works in a safe manner at all times
  • Assists in other kitchens of the Casino as necessary
  • Keeps the work area clean and organized and deep cleans the area at the end of shifts
  • Follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • Promotes positive public and employee relations
  • Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned
