Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years culinary experience in a professional kitchen
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Capable of working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of culinary experience in a full-service restaurant
- Prior experience in an upscale restaurant preferred
- Graduate of an apprenticeship program or culinary school preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items by following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef with minimal supervision
- Receive food deliveries and store and label items properly to prevent spoilage
- Set up stations by checking and completing mise en place and pars
- Assist chef with inventory and ordering
- Execute all duties in accordance with Desert Mountain Club, ServSafe, and health department standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
