Job Requirements

  • No previous cooking experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a food preparation role is an advantage but not required
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
  • Take full responsibility for the quality of the food products served
  • Consistently adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards, as well as kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in the final preparation of dishes ensuring proper plating and garnishing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to meet customer service standards
