Job Requirements
- Ability to plan and organize work
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
- Ability to set up and operate dishwashing equipment
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Moderate to heavy physical effort throughout the day
- Ability to stand or walk for 100 percent of workday
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch frequently
- Manual dexterity for food preparation
- Ability to use standard industrial kitchen appliances
- Ability to perform sweeping and mopping
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier loads
- Ability to push or pull carts and equipment up to 200 pounds
- Willingness to work in environments with extreme temperatures and chemicals
- Ability to comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to respond to emergency or unusual situations as required
Job Qualifications
- Ability to plan and organize work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards

Job Duties
- Prepare and plate food items based on standardized recipes including boils, braises, roasts, fries, steams, grills, and bakes
- Assist in food preparations for daily meals, special functions, banquets, catering, holidays, and events
- Clean kitchen thoroughly daily
- Set up dish and pot washing area and wash pots, dishes, and utensils
- Distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules
- Empty all trash containers in kitchen into dumpster daily
- Keep storerooms, freezers, and refrigerators clean
- Mop floors at designated times
- Store food and non-food supplies, restocking after deliveries
- Follow safety procedures when handling kitchen equipment and comply with sanitation and personal hygiene standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by chefs or supervisors
