Job Requirements

  • Less than 1 year food service experience preferred
  • Less than 1 year cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm shifts
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Physical ability to perform cooking duties and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in a hospital dietary setting
  • No formal education required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience as a line cook or grill cook preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff
  • Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies
  • Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Taking ownership of their area - this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers
