Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year food service experience preferred
- Less than 1 year cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends and 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm shifts
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Physical ability to perform cooking duties and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work in a hospital dietary setting
- No formal education required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience as a line cook or grill cook preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff
- Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies
- Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Taking ownership of their area - this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers
