Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade or vocational school diploma
  • at least 3 years of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and stretching
  • adherence to safety and company policies

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or replace products
  • regulate oven, grill, and roaster temperatures
  • thaw frozen food safely in refrigerators
  • ensure proper portioning, plating, and garnishing
  • keep food records
  • monitor food quality and quantity
  • assist during busy periods
  • report excess food for daily specials
  • inform Food and Beverage staff of rejected products and specials
  • ensure food product quality
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • prepare cold dishes
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and training employees
  • enforce safety and company policies
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • anticipate and fulfill guest service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • foster positive working relationships
  • meet quality expectations and standards
  • perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking, stretching, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
