Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- ability to read and comprehend recipes and other instructions
- knowledge of material safety data sheets and safety information
- basic math skills for food measurement calculations
- ability to complete ServSafe certification within nine months
- prior cooking experience preferred
- availability to work part-time shifts typically from 10 am to 6 pm
- ability to work every other weekend
Job Qualifications

- prior experience in large-scale cooking preferred
- knowledge of food safety practices

Job Duties
- Prepare one or more parts of large meals for residents and staff
- prepare special diets under supervisor instructions
- serve meals to residents and staff
- put away stock and supplies
- clean kitchen and equipment thoroughly
- maintain food safety standards
- complete required ServSafe certification within probationary period
