Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food production experience as a short-order cook or line cook in a restaurant
  • ability to maintain a static position for extended periods while preparing food
  • ability to routinely move items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • proficiency in English
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

  • Proficiency in English and ability to interpret instructions

  • knowledge of cooking methods and equipment
  • ability to maintain static positions for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Follow standardized recipes for all meals
  • prepare food items ensuring accurate nutritional standards, great taste, and visual presentation
  • communicate daily with culinary and management staff regarding production problems, sanitation, quality issues, health and safety issues, and maintenance issues
  • maintain sanitation and safety standards in food preparation areas
  • assist in inventory management and kitchen organization
  • operate food preparation equipment according to guidelines
  • support team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
