Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • proficiency in English and ability to interpret instructions
  • prior food production experience as a short-order cook or line cook in a restaurant
  • knowledge of methods and equipment used in food preparation and serving
  • ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
  • familiarity with health and safety standards in food service
  • ability to maintain food quality and presentation consistently

Job Duties

  • follow standardized recipes for all meals in back-of-house or front-of-house stations
  • prepare food items maintaining nutritional standards, taste, and presentation
  • communicate production, sanitation, quality, health, safety, and maintenance issues to management
  • maintain sanitation and safety protocols consistently
  • collaborate with culinary and management staff to resolve kitchen operational challenges
  • prepare food maintaining consistency and compliance with food safety regulations
  • assist with inventory and kitchen equipment upkeep
