Job Requirements

  • Vehicle with valid insurance and current registration for base access
  • ability to speak and understand English
  • ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • previous prep or line cook experience
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
  • ability to work 30-40 hours per week
  • availability for the temporary assignment from January 22nd to March 10th

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
  • knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • previous prep or line cook experience
  • ability to speak, read, and understand English to effectively communicate with customers
  • ability to think, react calmly, and respond to emergency situations
  • ability to perform under stressful situations and respond to work problems

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate and adhere to company core values, mission, and code of conduct
  • prepare products according to the Army Food Management Information System automated recipe system
  • follow tasks listed in the Performance Work Statement as directed by the contract
  • maintain a clean and organized station while practicing safety and sanitation
  • properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
  • complete ServSafe training satisfactorily
  • actively participate in company meetings and trainings
  • maintain a proactive relationship with customers and coworkers
  • follow all company policies
  • perform additional responsibilities as assigned
