Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • authorization to work in the U.S.
  • prior experience in a food production or restaurant environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • proficiency in English and ability to interpret instructions
  • prior food production experience as a short-order cook or line cook
  • knowledge of methods and equipment used in food preparation and serving
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to maintain static position for extended periods
  • capability to routinely move items weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • follow standardized recipes for meal preparation
  • prepare food items maintaining nutritional standards, great taste, and visual presentation
  • communicate daily with culinary and management staff about production, sanitation, quality, health and safety, and maintenance issues
  • assist in food production tasks in a back-of-house or front-of-house setting
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas according to health regulations
  • ensure compliance with safety procedures and food handling standards
  • support seasonal workflow and adaptability by working in different departments as needed
