Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe food handler certification
  • Must successfully pass criminal background checks
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment reference checks
  • Provide official grade transcripts from education
  • Provide social security card for W-4 documentation
  • Provide documentation for I-9 employment eligibility
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance if driving required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe food handler certification
  • Knowledge of basic culinary techniques such as slicing, dicing, julienning, braising, searing
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet goals
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare large quantities of food following safe and sanitary practices
  • Adjust and follow recipes accurately with reliable execution
  • Clean, cut, and cook meat, fish, or poultry
  • Maintain clean work areas and kitchen equipment
  • Adhere to policies and procedures including HIPAA compliance
  • Attend orientation and training activities
  • Maintain appropriate dress and consistent attendance
