Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One-year certificate from culinary school or comparable experience
- Compliance with health codes
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Personal mobility within the facility
- Ability to follow organizational rules and maintain sanitary conditions
- Regular attendance
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take direction well

Job Duties
- Prepare recipes as directed
- Measure ingredients and prepare them according to Chef's specifications
- Wash and peel ingredients for meal preparation
- Cut and portion different types of meat according to specifications
- Prepare various foods while following recipes carefully
- Accept or reject ingredients based on appearance and quality
- Keep track of ingredient quantities to ensure sufficient supplies
- Store ingredients in appropriate containers for preservation
- Clean and sanitize working surfaces, tools, utensils, and work area
- Maintain food and storage temperature as required
- Follow health codes and organizational policies like SAVOR and ASM Global regulations
- Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary environment
- Take direction well
- Ensure regular attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
