Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 2 years restaurant or kitchen experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to attend safety training and obtain certifications
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Qualifications

- Banquet experience considered a plus
- Completion of technical, trade, or vocational school is desirable

Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or replace products
- Regulate oven, grill, and roaster temperatures
- Remove food from freezer to thaw in refrigerator
- Ensure food portions, plating, and seasoning are correct
- Maintain food records
- Monitor food quality and quantity during preparation
- Communicate required assistance during busy periods
- Report surplus food to kitchen manager for daily specials
- Inform Food and Beverage staff about rejected products and specials
- Ensure food product quality
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and checklists
- Prepare cold dishes
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- Attend safety training and obtain certifications
- Maintain clean and professional appearance
- Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- Anticipate guest service needs and attend to them
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Cultivate positive working relationships
- Support team in achieving goals
- Listen and respond appropriately to concerns
- Ensure adherence to quality standards
- Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- Stretch, bend, twist, and crouch
