Job Requirements
- Preferred 2 years restaurant or kitchen experience
- banquet experience a plus
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- willingness to perform reasonable job duties as requested
- adherence to uniform and personal appearance standards
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
- at least 3 years of related work experience preferred
- no supervisory experience required
- ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- experience with food preparation and cooking
Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or substitute items
- regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- maintain food logs
- monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
- communicate assistance needed during busy periods
