Job Requirements

  • Preferred 2 years restaurant or kitchen experience
  • banquet experience a plus
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • willingness to perform reasonable job duties as requested
  • adherence to uniform and personal appearance standards
  • ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
  • at least 3 years of related work experience preferred
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • experience with food preparation and cooking

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items
  • regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
  • ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • maintain food logs
  • monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
  • communicate assistance needed during busy periods
