Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One-year certificate from culinary school or comparable experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be compliant with health codes
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Regular attendance
- Ability to maintain safe and sanitary workplace
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability to changing work demands

- Ability to read and interpret recipes and prep lists
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic knife skills
Job Duties
- Prepare recipes as directed
- Measure ingredients and prepare them in accordance with chef’s specifications
- Wash and peel ingredients for meal preparation
- Cut and portion meats according to specifications
- Accept or reject ingredients based on appearance and quality
- Keep track of ingredient quantities to ensure availability
- Store ingredients properly to preserve freshness
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, and utensils
- Monitor temperatures of food and cooling areas for safety
- Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area
- Follow SAVOR and ASM Global rules and regulations
- Take direction well
- Ensure regular attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
