Job Requirements

  • must possess knowledge of basic operation of a kitchen
  • understand oral and/or written instructions
  • ability to read and quantify recipes and menus
  • interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, subcontractors, management, and team members
  • meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract
  • must be able to pass organization screening requirements including state or federal background screenings as appropriate

Job Qualifications

  • strong interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with diverse stakeholders

Job Duties

  • prepare, portion, cook, and present various food items for meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events
  • follow oral and/or written instructions accurately
  • read and quantify recipes and menus
  • interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, subcontractors, management, and team members
  • comply with eligibility requirements for specific contract work assignments
  • adhere to safety, hygiene, and organizational screening standards
