Job Requirements

  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Previous prep or line cook experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English
  • Ability to think, react calmly, and respond to emergency situations
  • Ability to perform under stressful situations and respond to work problems
  • Must have vehicle, insurance, and current registration for base access
  • Willingness to work varied schedules
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate and adhere to company core values, mission, and code of conduct
  • Prepare products according to Army Food Management Information System Automated Recipe System
  • Follow tasks listed in the Performance Work Statement as directed by the contract
  • Maintain a clean and organized station while practicing safety and sanitation
  • Properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
  • Complete ServSafe training satisfactorily
  • Actively participate in company meetings and trainings
  • Maintain a proactive relationship with customers and coworkers
  • Follow all company policies
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
