Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalence
  • minimum three years of food preparation experience preferred
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment effectively
  • ability to read, write, and speak basic English
  • ability to work flexible hours and under high pressure
  • valid gaming license or ability to obtain
  • physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • adherence to health and safety standards
  • completion of required certifications
  • ability to work in various kitchen stations
  • strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalence
  • minimum of three years experience in food preparation and food knowledge preferred
  • ability to work the line in various kitchen stations such as Saute, Broiler, Appetizer, Pantry, Pasta, Grill
  • ability to complete required classes or certifications
  • valid gaming license or ability to obtain
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • demonstrated cooking skills with attention to accuracy and speed
  • willingness to assume responsibility and work flexible hours

Job Duties

  • Operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and griddles
  • provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests
  • greet guests approaching service area
  • read and apply recipes and measurements accurately
  • communicate effectively in English with team members
  • cook, prepare, dish-up, and assemble all outlet food
  • adhere to food cost control procedures and quality standards
  • abide by all health codes and hand washing guidelines
  • prepare food items according to standard recipes and menus
  • create compound sauces including Beurre Blancs
  • prepare written food requisitions for supplies and inventory
  • perform other duties as assigned
