Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be fully conversational in English
  • 1 to 2 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant
  • must successfully obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • able to stand for extended periods and perform stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather
  • must be flexible
  • supportive team player

Job Duties

  • work in OTG's prep kitchens and/or on the line of fast-casual concepts
  • support back-of-house by prepping ingredients for BOH lines
  • prepare food to correct temperature, portion sizing, and plating for consistent presentation
  • control quality of all food items prepared according to OTG specifications
  • maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships to achieve guest satisfaction
  • perform other duties as assigned
