Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work full-time in a non-management position

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items
  • Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in refrigerator
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of food prepared
  • Communicate assistance needed during busy periods
  • Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials
  • Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock items
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Anticipate and address guest service needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other job duties as requested by supervisors
