  • frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
  • frequent pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • follows recipe cards and portion standards
  • prepares food ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs
  • dates all food containers and rotates them, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures
  • assists in setting up plans and takes action to correct any food cost problems
  • controls food waste, loss and usage
  • operates, maintains and properly cleans deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill
  • complies with attendance rules and is available to work on a regular basis
  • completes duties and confirms on shift checklist as assigned
  • has the ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 lbs
  • performs various other duties as assigned by Supervisor
