Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility
  • Ability to work every other weekend
  • Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation
  • Availability to work part-time day shifts
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to perform tasks in a kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation
  • Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • ServSafe certified preferred
  • Prior experience in food service
  • Ability to work every other weekend as needed

Job Duties

  • Complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for the daily position assigned
  • Retrieve, prep and prepare items according to the daily production sheets and recipes
  • Follow all HACCP guidelines for food and physical safety
  • Maintain high standards of food production, service and sanitation
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Support dietary staff in meal preparation and service
  • Comply with all hospital food safety protocols
