Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation
- Availability to work part-time day shifts
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to perform tasks in a kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation
- Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- ServSafe certified preferred
- Prior experience in food service
- Ability to work every other weekend as needed
Job Duties
- Complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for the daily position assigned
- Retrieve, prep and prepare items according to the daily production sheets and recipes
- Follow all HACCP guidelines for food and physical safety
- Maintain high standards of food production, service and sanitation
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
- Support dietary staff in meal preparation and service
- Comply with all hospital food safety protocols
