Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a lead cook in a fast-paced restaurant
- Knowledge of kosher dietary laws
- Ability to prepare meals according to special diet orders
- Serve Safe certification preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties
- Review menus prior to food preparation
- Inspect special diet trays to ensure the correct diet is served to residents
- Ensure all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies
- Assist in establishing the food service production line to ensure meals are prepared on time
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus
- Prepare and serve meals that are both palatable and visually appealing
- Cook/prepare meals as necessary
- Prepare food according to standardized recipes and special diet orders
- Demonstrate knowledge of kosher dietary laws
