Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional cooking experience
- Fine dining experience strongly preferred
- Experience in restaurants, healthcare, or retirement communities is a plus
- Strong knowledge of scratch cooking, food safety, and culinary techniques
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality meals from scratch, including soups, sauces, seafood, meats, and specials
- Follow a rotating 5-week menu while maintaining flexibility for resident preferences
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation through proper tasting and adjustments
- Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Support the Executive Chef and Director of Dining with daily kitchen operations
- Work collaboratively with the dining team to ensure timely, excellent service
