Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work full time, part time, or per diem
  • ServeSafe Certification preferred within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to follow recipes and meet hygiene standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items for hospital patients, staff, and visitors according to recipes
  • Perform various dish duties ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • Comply with hospital food safety and hygiene standards
  • Coordinate with Food & Nutrition Services team to meet meal service schedules
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of cooking supplies
  • Ensure timely meal preparation and presentation
  • Adhere to dietary restrictions and special patient requirements
