Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
- One or more years of previous cook experience required
- ServSafe training and certification or ability to obtain local health certifications required
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly throughout shift
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including walking, standing, carrying, bending, and lifting continuously
- Ability to speak, understand, and write English

- Minimum one year of previous cook experience
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Preferred two or more years of cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Competency in food preparation techniques
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to CSM and brand quality standards
- Anticipate and complete daily prep work based on hotel occupancy
- Adhere to cost controls to minimize food waste and expenses
- Follow proper specifications for cooking, recipes, and plate set-up
- Use kitchen equipment and supplies properly
- Expedite food items to ensure timely service
- Greet and provide courteous service to internal and external customers
- Respond to guest needs with high-quality service
- Assist other associates as needed
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen regularly
- Assist dishwashers or bussers as needed
- Complete required paperwork accurately and timely
- Assist with inventory and par sheet completion
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow brand procedures for guest and associate incidents
- Adhere to grooming, appearance, work rules, and department procedures
- Attend department and hotel meetings
- Take initiative to assist others and contribute to the success of the food and beverage department
