Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work full-time hours from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Minimum of relevant cooking experience within the most recent 10 years
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical kitchen tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a cook or food preparation role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and nutritional guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Follow food safety and health regulations strictly
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
  • Collaborate with nutrition services staff to plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Support the overall kitchen team in daily operations to ensure timely meal service
