Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking or culinary experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work varied schedule based on operational needs
- Ability to follow company policies and safety standards

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals using correct portioning and maintaining proper temperature
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Maintains refrigerators and storerooms in a clean and organized manner
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
- Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Ensures proper food presentation and follows HACCP standards
- Abides by safety policies including use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
