Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly individuals
- previous dementia care experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State or Local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- knowledge and experience working with elderly individuals
- experience with dementia care preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State or Local requirements
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to communicate in English effectively
Job Duties
- Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist the Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen environment
- adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal service
- support dietary needs and preferences of elderly residents
- uphold professionalism and sensitivity in service delivery
