Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly and previous dementia experience preferred
- food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen environment
- adhere to state and local food safety regulations
- support dietary needs of elderly and dementia-affected residents
- collaborate with kitchen and care staff for quality service delivery
- follow physical demands of kitchen operations including lifting up to 50 pounds
