Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior cooking or culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work full time or part time with flexible schedules including rotating weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Must be able to comply with company policies including use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques

  • Prior culinary experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Basic record keeping and inventory skills
  • Willingness to attend training and safety meetings
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, maintaining proper temperature and appearance
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records
  • Clean kitchen and storage areas, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Report maintenance issues or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and follow HACCP standards
  • Commit personally to safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures
