Job Requirements

  • Two years of previous line cooking and batch cooking experience
  • Ability to work full time or part time schedules including rotating weekends
  • Must be able to perform essential job duties safely
  • Ability to adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols
  • Willingness to use required protective gear such as cut gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Employment eligibility to work at the Green Bay, WI location
  • Capability to follow company policies and procedures consistently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of line cooking and batch cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene
  • Experience working in a healthcare or large food service operation preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains accurate records
  • Cleans kitchen and stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs and attends safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Performs duties safely and maintains a clean work environment
  • Ensures proper food presentation following HACCP standards
  • Complies with company policies on safety including protective glove usage and proper lifting techniques
