Job Requirements

  • Prior cooking experience is required
  • Ability to prepare and serve food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate regulations
  • Must be able to work full-time or part-time schedules including varying day shifts
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols, including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Must maintain cleanliness and high-quality food standards
  • Capable of following standardized recipes and portion controls
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations including HACCP
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment safely and effectively

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery ensuring correct portioning and temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents promptly
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Commits personally to workplace safety and adheres to company policies on protective equipment use
  • Performs other duties as assigned
