Job Requirements

  • High volume kitchen experience required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a high volume kitchen required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
  • Commitment to teamwork and safety
  • Willingness to work varied shifts and maintain open availability

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving while maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and items properly stored
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs or equipment issues to supervisor immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures in line with HACCP standards
  • Commits to personal and team safety
  • Abides by all company policies including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
