Job Requirements

  • professional cooking experience required
  • ability to work full-time Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • adherence to company safety protocols including use of personal protective equipment
  • reliable and punctual
  • good physical stamina for standing and lifting
  • willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policy

Job Duties

  • prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at correct temperature
  • tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
  • performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • abides by company safety policies and procedures
