Job Requirements

- ability to work varied hours and shifts
- capability to use kitchen equipment safely

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food meets temperature and presentation standards
- taste all prepared food items to ensure quality
- use established ticket collection procedures during service
- clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
- store or discard excess food according to safe food handling procedures
- keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
- attend in-service and safety meetings
- maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- comply with company safety policies including use of protective gloves and appropriate footwear
- perform other duties as assigned
