Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior line cooking experience required
- ability to work full-time Monday through Sunday with a schedule of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capacity to handle kitchen equipment safely
- compliance with company safety protocols
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and handling hot items
- willingness to adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Prior line cooking experience
- knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
- ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
- familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- strong attention to detail and quality control
- good communication and teamwork skills
- commitment to workplace safety and hygiene
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- understanding of HACCP safety standards
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serves meals or prepares for delivery ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation
- tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality and consistency
- cleans kitchen and maintains cleanliness after preparation and service
- stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment
- assists in production planning, record keeping, reporting, ordering and receiving supplies
- reports maintenance needs or faulty equipment immediately
- attends safety and in-service meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
- performs job safely adhering to company safety protocols
- ensures proper presentation and portion control following HACCP standards
- commits personally to safety and compliance with company policies
