Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time including Monday to Friday schedule with rotating weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Capable of handling knives and kitchen equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous culinary experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic math skills for portioning and inventory
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Willingness to attend training and safety meetings
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food meets standards
  • Tastes all prepared food items
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food safely
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs or accidents to supervisor
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • Performs job safely and maintains a clean work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures
  • Adheres to company safety policies and procedures
