Job Requirements

  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Saturday with variable hours
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for extended periods
  • Commitment to safety practices including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety protocols
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Willingness to attend training and safety meetings
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Saturday

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals using correct portioning and ensures food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen and food preparation areas and maintains cleanliness and safety standards
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Maintains refrigerators and storerooms neat and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs or accidents promptly
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • Performs job safely adhering to company policies including the use of personal protective equipment
