Job Requirements
- one year of prior kitchen experience in the food industry
- ability to prepare food according to federal, state, and corporate standards
- capability to maintain cleanliness and food safety protocols
- willingness to follow company policies including safety gear usage
- ability to work a full-time schedule with varying days
- legal authorization to work in the united states
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties safely
- strong attention to detail and food quality
Job Qualifications

- familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

Job Duties
- prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at proper temperature
- tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
- follows established ticket collection procedures during service
- cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
- stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
- keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- reports maintenance needs or faulty equipment to supervisor immediately
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
- performs job safely while ensuring a clean and safe work environment
- ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- abides by all company safety policies and procedures including use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques
- performs other duties as assigned
