Job Requirements

  • Prior cooking experience is required
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to comply with safety standards and company policies
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to handle kitchen equipment safely
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience
  • Ability to prepare and follow standardized recipes
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness in kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic record keeping and inventory management skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Commitment to workplace safety and company policies
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensures food is at proper temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized and ensures proper storage of food and supplies
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, equipment faults, or accidents to supervisor
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures in line with HACCP standards
  • Adheres to company policies including proper personal protective equipment use and slip-resistant shoe requirements
  • Committed to personal and team safety
  • Performs other duties as assigned
