Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of prior culinary and kitchen experience
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Ability to follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Must be able to perform job tasks safely and follow company safety policies
  • Willingness to participate in in-service training and safety meetings
  • Must be able to handle kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of prior culinary and kitchen experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food preparation procedures
  • Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality food service
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a kitchen environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work full-time schedule, Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares them for delivery ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering and receiving of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisors immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Adheres to company safety policies including use of gloves and proper lifting techniques
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • Performs other duties as assigned
