  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in fine dining preferred
  • ability to prepare foods that meet hospitality and service standards
  • knowledge of standardized recipes and food production
  • understanding of healthcare regulations
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner
  • determine food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours
  • prepare all special dietary needs as directed by the menus
  • monitor all food items to ensure guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are upheld
  • ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to menu cycles and recipes
  • assist with documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules
  • comply with local, state, and federal food handling policies
