Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, a restaurant, or similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other team members
  • self-motivated and organized
  • ability to work independently and multitask
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply aspects including securing items in time for preparation
  • ensure leftovers are stored correctly
  • maintain food inventories
  • ensure compliance with sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • communicate effectively with restaurant team members
  • support multiple kitchen stations and tasks simultaneously
