Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of culinary experience in hotel kitchen or restaurant setting
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work full time
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, a restaurant, or a similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with team members
  • self-motivated, organized, and professional
  • ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply aspects including securing items on time
  • ensure leftovers are stored correctly
  • maintain accurate inventories
  • follow sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • communicate clearly and work cohesively with the restaurant team
  • manage multiple tasks efficiently
