Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified culinary degree preferred
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to maintain or obtain ServSafe certification
  • One year job related experience in food preparation and special diets
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs using proper body mechanics
  • Good communication skills
  • Compassionate and patient attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Competent in organizational and time management skills

  • Prepare full-line menu items including special diets
  • Maintain ServSafe certification and adhere to food safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with the dining team to create memorable dining experiences
  • Manage food preparation and inventory efficiently
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Assist with menu planning and presentation
