Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of relevant cooking experience
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- ability to work full-time
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work independently and multitask
- strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, a restaurant, or a similar operation
- knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
- ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members
- self-motivated, organized, and professional
- ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time
- strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
- work with Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage all aspects of food and supply management including securing items in time for food prep, ensuring leftovers are stored correctly, and inventories maintained
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation and kitchen areas
- follow safety and hygiene regulations
- communicate clearly and effectively with team members
- manage multiple tasks and work independently
- provide strong customer service to residents and visitors
