Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment
  • customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members
  • self-motivated, organized, and professional
  • ability to work independently and multitask
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply management including securing items for food prep
  • ensure leftovers are stored correctly
  • maintain inventory levels
  • adhere to sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • communicate clearly and work cohesively with restaurant team members
  • handle multiple tasks independently in a professional manner
