Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work full time Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 am to 1:30 pm
  • Must adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare food following standardized recipes and instructions
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and corporate food safety standards
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
  • Good interpersonal skills to maintain working relationships
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
  • Capacity to participate in production planning and inventory management
  • Commitment to personal and workplace safety
  • Willingness to attend training and safety meetings.

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensuring food and supplies are stored per standards
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required
  • Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as needed
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately to supervisor
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Demonstrates personal commitment to safety.
